First setup

From the box to a tested first automation

Work in small steps. Confirm each connection and output before adding more devices or leaving an automation unattended.

  1. 01

    Check the product

Keep the model, hardware revision and serial information from the product label available.

  2. 02

    Install the app

Open Home Ecosystems and choose Controllers, then Add controller.

  3. 03

    Power and discover

Use the specified power source, keep your phone nearby and follow the Bluetooth or controller Wi-Fi instructions.

  4. 04

    Join your local network

Select the intended Wi-Fi network and wait for the app to confirm the controller is reachable before continuing.

  5. 05

    Protect the controller

Set a unique device password and a controller access-point password, then store both safely.

  6. 06

    Configure and verify

Name channels, add only confirmed compatible devices, create one automation and test both automatic and manual control.

Troubleshooting

Recover without losing a working configuration

The app cannot find the controller

Keep the phone close, enable Bluetooth and Local Network access, and confirm that no VPN or guest-network isolation is blocking local discovery. Wait a little longer after the controller starts before scanning again.

The controller appears offline or is slow to open

Confirm the phone and controller can reach the same local network. Give the controller time to reconnect after Wi-Fi or password changes, then retry once. Avoid repeated rapid taps while a request is still completing.

The app says unauthorized

Re-enter the current device password in the controller connection prompt. Changing the controller password invalidates the old saved credential on other phones and computers.

An external device is not listed

Check the exact model and supported feature list. A device being visible on Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or the controller access point does not automatically mean every function is supported.

I may need to reset or update the controller

Do not erase or factory-reset a configured controller as the first recovery step. Record its model and symptoms, preserve a configuration backup where available, and contact support for the safest next action.

Important safety information

Automation supports care. It does not replace safe installation or supervision.

  • Use only the power source, enclosure conditions, loads and wiring specified for your exact product and hardware revision.
  • Disconnect power before connecting, changing or inspecting channels, sensors, actuators or other wiring.
  • Do not exceed the voltage, current, temperature, humidity or environmental limits stated on the product or its documentation.
  • Keep equipment dry and adequately ventilated unless the complete installed enclosure is expressly rated for the environment.
  • Follow the manufacturer instructions and safety limits of every connected third-party device.
  • Test failure states and provide independent protection for pumps, heaters, lighting and any load that could cause harm or damage.
  • Do not use Home Ecosystems as a medical, life-support, fire-protection, security-critical or emergency-stop system.
  • If operation appears unsafe, disconnect power from the controller and controlled equipment and contact support.
